The Division of Vascular Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, within the Smidt Heart Institute, invites a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its multidisciplinary Vascular Surgery group. The division offers comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with vascular disease, prioritizing patient-centered care, cooperative efforts, and continuity during the surgical patient experience.

The NP will work closely with multiple vascular surgeons and other members of the healthcare team while independently managing appropriate patients within their scope of practice. The position is currently outpatient-focused, with the potential to expand to inpatient vascular surgery care and rounding as the program evolves.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients within the Vascular Surgery division. They will work collaboratively with surgeons and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care for surgical patients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master of Nursing degree and be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Required credentials include a current California RN license, NP and Furnishing license, NPI, DEA license, and ACLS certification.
