Key Responsibilities
The Behavior Intervention Specialist will assess student behavioral needs and collaborate with staff to develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans. They are responsible for providing staff training, modeling de-escalation techniques, and analyzing behavioral data to improve student outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Alabama Teacher’s Certificate with a special education endorsement and be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). A minimum of 3 years of experience working with students with autism, communication disorders, or behavioral concerns is required.
