Key Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Care Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services by managing patient drug therapy, conducting medication history inquiries, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. They also perform drug utilization reviews, provide patient education, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Pharmacy degree and a California Pharmacist license, with experience in collaborative drug therapy management or completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency. Specialized oncology experience or board certification (BCOP) is required or must be obtained within three years of employment.
