ER Physician

As an ER Physician, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients with a variety of conditions across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff, CT Radiology Technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide competent and compassionate care.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e. g., labs, imaging) to guide treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed in emergency situations.
• Provide clear, concise documentation of patient care in compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines in patient’s EMR via EPD.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and coworkers regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians, for ongoing patient care.
• Adhere to all medical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines and company policies.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and critical thinking in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Current and valid state medical license and DEA
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
