The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult patients. They also provide aural rehabilitation and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems in a home health setting.
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be eligible for a Clinical Fellowship. A current CPR certification is also required, and one year of experience is preferred.
