About the Role

TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Virtual Nephrologist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, multi‑specialty telehealth practice. This role focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of nephrology conditions through a fully remote platform. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient‑focused, and comfortable delivering care in a virtual environment.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate diagnose, and manage chronic kidney diseases
  • Conduct follow-up visits and longitudinal care for established patients
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR - Advanced MD
  • Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians as required by CA regulations

  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Provide patient education and counseling focused on lifestyle, medication adherence, and disease management

Qualifications

  • CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of Nephrology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
  • Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology.
