Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Respond to rapid response and code situations within the hospital.
- Coordinate care with consulting specialists and nursing staff.
- Perform thorough histories and physical examinations for new admissions.
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges. Respond to rapid response and code situations while coordinating care with consulting specialists and nursing staff.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician with a valid California medical license and DEA registration. Requires BLS certification and proficiency in documenting patient encounters within the Epic EMR system.
