Job Description

Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking Clinical Psychologist candidates to work in Chantilly, VA or McLean, VA *location to be determined by staffing need. This is a very rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting our Military and Intelligence men and women and the challenges they face.

Leidos will consider sponsoring qualified individuals towards gaining the Top Secret/SCI with Poly security clearance required for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews, including documenting clinical findings.
  • Diagnose psychological disorders and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and consultations

Conduct diagnostic interviews and therapy sessions using evidence-based and brief therapeutic models and consultation to management and other medical staff.

Provide current national mental health care referral capability/network information and resources, as applicable.

Develop and implement mental health related workshops, briefings and facilitate group therapy, as requested

Conduct pre/post deployment consultations, mental health briefings and organizational consultation to components involved in high-threat and expeditionary operations.

Maintain complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentation

Consult with management and other medical staff as needed

Basic Qualifications

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology

  • Completion of an APA-accredited program
  • Postdoctoral supervised experience, ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 hours, often in a clinical setting
  • 5 years of post-licensure/certification experience

Must have state licensure as a Psychologist to work at an independent level. A current valid unrestricted counseling license/certification from one of the 50 U.S. states or D.C. that grants the authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields is required.

  • Experience conducting assessments and clinical interviews to include documenting clinical findings
  • Ability to diagnose psychological disorders and provide evidence-based psychotherapy
  • Strong clinical abilities, and enthusiasm for a collaborative approach to treatment.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Detail-Oriented

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $271,957.50

Pay Range

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
