The pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication order verification, clinical services, and oversight of pharmacy operations. They also supervise pharmacy technicians, participate in quality improvement programs, and provide drug education to staff and students.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess a current California pharmacy license. Preferred qualifications include two years of ambulatory care experience and completion of a PGY1 or Ambulatory Care residency.
