Weekend Day Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The counselor provides direct onsite supervision and support to residents while facilitating patient education and crisis intervention. They are responsible for documenting services in electronic clinical records and participating in the implementation of treatment and safety plans.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience in a health or human services agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
