About the Role
As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients across various healthcare settings. You will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications accurately while providing expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage.
Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to hospital and retail pharmacy operations, including immunization services and patient counseling.
Ultimately, your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care that enhances patient health and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license or registration as required by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacoeconomics and medication therapy management.
- Experience in hospital, clinical, or retail pharmacy settings.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit management and immunization protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate residency or specialized certification in clinical pharmacy or pharmacotherapy.
- Experience with advanced patient counseling techniques and chronic disease management.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management software.
- Training in compounding and manual dexterity skills for specialized medication preparation.
- Continuing education in emerging pharmaceutical practices and healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct medication therapy management to assess, monitor, and optimize patient medication regimens.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospital and clinical pharmacy settings to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Manage pharmacy benefit programs and maintain accurate records of medication inventory and transactions.
- Stay current with pharmacoeconomics to support cost-effective medication use and formulary decisions.

Requirements
