PHARMACIST - SCH IN-PATIENT PHARMACY

Join South Central Regional Medical Center as a Pharmacist – Full-Time Inpatient in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense outpatient medications including discharge prescriptions, emergency department, hospice, nursing home, workers’ compensation, and employee prescriptions.

• Provide patient counseling for dispensed medications.

• Verify and dispense inpatient medications utilizing the unit dose system.

• Review patient profiles for allergies, interactions, duplications, age‑specific considerations, and appropriate dosing.

Requirements

• Perform additional pharmacy‑related duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy. QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Mississippi.

• Knowledge of unit‑dose drug distribution systems preferred.

• Knowledge of IV admixture systems preferred.
