Job Description

Follow treatment plans created by PTs that involve stretching, strength training, exercises and physical manipulation to help people recover. PT assistants will track progress and report to the physical therapist. In addition, PT assistants are in charge of the treatment area, making sure that it is clean, neat, and ready for each patient.

Minimum Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.
Ability to make presentations before top management, public groups, and staff regarding infectious diseases. Ability to work independently, with no direction. Education and/or Experience: Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.
Two (2) years previous experience as Physical Therapist in a hospital setting. Previous hospital experience preferred Licensure/Certification Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistance in the state of Oklahoma.
Current BLS certification. *Proof of all required License(s) and Certification(s) is due at time of hire.

Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring the treatment area remains clean, neat, and prepared for every patient.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school and have two years of previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital setting. Required credentials include a current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license and current BLS certification, due at the time of hire.
