The Medical Pod Leader oversees the clinical performance, patient outcomes, and team dynamics of a clinical pod while serving as the collaborating physician for advanced practice providers. They are responsible for conducting chart audits, leading high-risk patient huddles, and ensuring high-quality care delivery through effective team collaboration.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree, possess an unrestricted medical license, and maintain a valid DEA registration. A minimum of three years of experience collaborating with advanced practice providers is preferred, along with board certification.
