Job Description Summary MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina.

This position serves as the clinical therapist for the patients in the day treatment program in Rock Hill Schools. This position will be facilitating individual, family and group therapy as well as working with the entire treatment team to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions.

The therapist works in collaboration with the clinical team and school team to meet the behavioral health needs of the patient. This position identifies treatment needs and risk factors that the patient may experience, and applies interventions and skill building techniques.

Minimum Education and Experience: Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Credentials: MSW licensure by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. Certification in case management preferred.

25 lbs. of force are required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand. Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors.
