We seek a part time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Pharmacy located inside of the Mount Rogers Community Services clinic at 216 Hospital Ave, Marion, VA 24354

Schedule for this position will be 1 day a week (flexible) within the Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Pharmacy Schedule. Opportunity for more hours if willing to work at our Abingdon and Bristol location as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

  • Available to work 1 day a week within the Monday-Friday, 830-5 Pharmacy schedule with ability to pick up more days as needed/available
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
  • Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
