Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering various forms of anesthesia and managing patient airways during surgical and medical procedures. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, monitor patients throughout procedures, and provide post-anesthesia care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, they are required to maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
