Job Description
Ready to make a real difference in behavioral health? Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Lead Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive inpatient medical and psychiatric care to a dynamic patient population of 160+ individuals, plus walk-in patients—no two days are exactly alike!
Collaborate & Connect: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and support staff to develop and execute individualized treatment plans that actually work
Diagnostic Excellence: Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage acute medical and behavioral health conditions with confidence
Medication Management: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications while staying sharp on drug interactions and patient responses
Documentation & Communication: Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and communicate effectively with the care team to keep everyone on the same page
Patient Advocacy: Be the voice for your patients, ensuring they receive compassionate, evidence-based care throughout their inpatient stay
On-Call Commitment: Participate in call rotation to support urgent patient needs and maintain continuity of care
Professional Growth: Stay current with behavioral health best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends—because work-life balance matters!)
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant in Michigan.
BCLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years experience as an APP

Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient medical and psychiatric care, assess patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage acute medical and behavioral health conditions. Prescribe and monitor medications, coordinate individualized treatment with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, advocate for patients, and participate in the on-call rotation.
