Job Details

Jefferson Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our established neurosurgical team serving Bucks County and the surrounding region. This opportunity is being recruited to support continued access to high-quality neurosurgical care within the Jefferson Health system.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical evaluation and treatment in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The position offers the opportunity to build and maintain a robust clinical and surgical practice while working closely with neurology, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, rehabilitation, radiology, and other specialties across Jefferson Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of patients with neurosurgical conditions
  • Maintain an active inpatient and outpatient clinical practice
  • Perform appropriate elective and urgent neurosurgical procedures

Participate in Neurosurgical Call Coverage

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Support quality, patient-safety, and program-development initiatives
  • Participate in educational and academic activities as appropriate

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
  • Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
