Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of patients assigned on an outpatient basis.
- Prescribe and review medications as necessary for consumers following current standards of care.
- Serve as liaison for Abbe with community physicians, hospital staff, and other professionals and agencies with regard to psychiatric services.
- Demonstrates the UnityPoint Health Values and Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Experience in the practice of psychiatry in outpatient settings, required.
- Experience with Medication Assisted Treatment or working with substance use disorders, preferred.

Licensure & Certifications
Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and have experience in psychiatry in outpatient settings. A valid driver's license and current nursing license registered with the Iowa Board of Nursing at the advanced level are also required.
