Vitreoretinal Surgeon | Richmond, Virginia
Retina Institute of Virginia is seeking a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our established, growing retina practice in Richmond, Virginia.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-volume medical and surgical retina practice with an established patient base, strong clinical support, and flexibility to build your surgical schedule.
The Opportunity
Retina Institute of Virginia is a retina-focused practice with five physicians providing comprehensive treatment for retinal and vitreous disease throughout Central and Eastern Virginia.
With two primary offices and three satellite locations, the practice serves patients throughout Richmond, Fredericksburg, Tappahannock, Colonial Heights, and Williamsburg.
Opportunity Highlights Include
- Approximately 50 patients per day
- Approximately 6 surgical cases per week
- Surgery performed in Richmond
- Flexible surgical scheduling with at least one dedicated surgery day
- Monday–Friday clinical schedule
- No hospital call
- Weekend/holiday practice call rotation of approximately 8–9 weekends annually
- Experienced technicians, scribes, and diagnostic testing support
- Approximately 20% travel to the Williamsburg satellite location
- Established patient and referral base
- Opportunity to practice both medical and surgical retina
- Additional training or interest in uveitis is welcomed but not required
