Key Responsibilities
- The Physician Lead of Primary Care Clinical Operations functions as dyad partner to the Director of Primary Care Operations.
- The Physician Lead will facilitate the development and implementation of operational programs and initiatives for CenterWell/The Villages under the direction of the Market Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
- In this role, the Physician Lead will participate in care management, utilization review, quality improvement, and related policy and practice initiatives.
- This position oversees clinical operations, quality and care management, ensuring that appropriate care levels are being administered as well as develops/oversees utilization management programs.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
