Job Description
Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services. Our Mission is to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective”.
We are actively seeking to hire Licensed Mental Health Therapists who can partner with us to achieve that mission. You will be joining us at a critical time in our journey, as we have ambitious growth plans and significant opportunities.
We are looking for passionate Therapists for both full and part time roles. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers. Applicants must be licensed to practice and have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, or families
- Refer clients to specialists if necessary
- Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs
- Monitor client progress during treatment
- Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)
Prior Experience in Psychotherapy
- Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide
- Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight
- Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care
Key Responsibilities
The therapist will diagnose and treat various mental health disorders while facilitating individual, group, or family therapy sessions. They are responsible for creating personalized treatment plans and monitoring client progress throughout the care process.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a full professional license such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT to practice psychotherapy. Prior experience working with adult, child, or adolescent populations is required.
