Job Details: Job Location: GA, Davisboro - Washington State Prison - Davisboro, GA, Position Type: Part-Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Psychiatrist & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Washington State Prison located in Davisboro, Georgia. The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
Qualifications: Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
- Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration

Key Responsibilities
The psychiatrist will provide behavioral health and psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients within a correctional facility. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) and be board certified or eligible in psychiatry. An active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration are required to perform the duties of this role.
