The Substance Abuse Counselor provides intake, assessment, and counseling to clients within the FACT program to support community reintegration. They are responsible for creating treatment plans, maintaining clinical records, and collaborating with medical staff for co-morbid conditions.
Candidates should possess an Associate's degree and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent certification. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain CPR certification and security clearance are required.
