Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Carry out corrective exercise and treatment programs for a diverse patient population under the direction of a physical therapist. Instruct patients on the use of assistive devices and monitor treatment responses to coordinate care plans.

Requirements

Requires an associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited institution and a current, unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapy assistant. Candidates must have one year of experience within the last two years and hold a current BLS certification.
