About the Role
Join Washburn University as a Student Orientation Counselor (FWS) in United States. Position Title: Student Orientation Counselor (FWS) Department: New Student Orientation Advertised Pay: $12.00 Campus Location: Washburn University Special Instructions to Applicants: Resume required.
Key Responsibilities
- Outlook, MyWashburn, Slate).
- May be asked to operate audiovisual technology during orientation events.
- May be asked to travel to one of the Washburn Tech campuses for their orientation events.
- Assist with recruitment and retention events for departments within Enrollment Management and the Center for Student Success and Retention.
Requirements
- 10 hours per week in March
- April 2026; 30
- 40 hours per week in May
Benefits & Compensation
- Essential Functions: Prepare and organize materials for orientation
- related events. May be asked to carry boxes, transport materials up and down stairs, and across campus buildings. May be asked to use computer software for orientation

Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
