Telemedica is expanding its network of PAs and NPs to support veterans by developing clinical opinions and documentation used in disability claims. This work is remote, flexible, and centered on interpreting existing medical and service records to produce clear, evidence-based medical rationale.

Clinicians with military backgrounds — PA/NP, IDC, 68W/68C, corpsmen, flight medics, or VA clinical roles — tend to excel due to their familiarity with service-connected injuries and military medical documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Review medical and service records and identify clinically relevant history
• Develop clear, defensible written medical opinions and rationale
• Interpret timelines, exposures, and functional impact
• Write clear medical rationale that aligns with nexus standards, functional impairment concepts, and commonly referenced VA case law and medical-legal frameworks
• Use structured documentation templates to ensure consistency
• Participate in occasional case escalations or clinical review discussions

Required Qualifications

• Active PA or NP license in good standing
• Strong written communication

PA or NP with Strong Clinical Reasoning

• Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, or Military Medicine
• Former military or VA clinical experience
• Comfortable with document-heavy clinical work

Compensation

• Contract role: $65-165/hour
• Paid per case, varying by case type and complexity
