Radiation Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation doses to patients with high accuracy using specialized equipment. They also perform simulations, document treatment data, and manage patient scheduling to ensure efficient department throughput.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved radiation therapy school and hold registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of NJ. Two years of previous radiation therapy experience is preferred, along with current BLS certification.
