The Senior Respiratory Therapist delivers comprehensive respiratory care to all age groups and assists with the orientation and training of new staff. They are also responsible for maintaining airway management, assisting with intubations, and participating in department quality improvement studies.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved program and hold a current Florida RRT license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE, along with at least one year of experience in neonatal intensive care and acute critical care settings.
