This full-time, on-site position offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
In this role, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive emergency care, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering excellent medical services while navigating the challenges of a dynamic healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients in emergency situations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Assist in emergency procedures and interventions
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff and other team members
- Participate in continuous education and professional development
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Active NP or PA license in the state of New Mexico
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts, minimum of 11 per month
No call shifts
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Annual Volumes: 62k and 90k
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
