Job Description

As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in emergency situations, utilizing your medical expertise to make prompt decisions and provide life-saving interventions. Shift Schedule
Available shifts from 7 PM to 8 AM or 8 AM to 7 PM; candidates should specify available days in their presentation
Type of Privileges: Hospital-based
Work Setting
Outpatient and inpatient (Emergency Department primarily operates as outpatient)
Patient Demographics: Diverse Populations
Patient Volume: Approximately 41 Patients per Day
Required Procedures: Standard Emergency Room Procedures
Staffing
Solo practice, though day shifts may have Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assistance
Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC
Certification Requirements
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)/Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Licensure
- Candidates must possess an active Oregon license at the time of application
Clinical Activity Requirement
- Documentation of clinical activity within the last 24 months is required, including case logs that demonstrate the provision of emergency medicine services reflecting the scope and complexity of requested privileges.
