Chemical Dependency Counselor

Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and the Manager, the Chemical Dependency Professional implements, maintains and coordinates the case management of assigned patients. Chemical Dependency Professionals deliver treatment services including individual and family sessions, lectures and group therapy.

The Chemical Dependency Professional performs all levels of pre-admission assessment, from inquiry to biopsychosocial assessment, as well as aspects of the clinical admission process.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional License.
• 2 years Counseling experience with persons with the primary problem of chemical dependency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling or a related area.
• Master's Degree in Counseling or a related area.
• Working with dual diagnosis patients.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
