Job Details: Job Location: Springfield - Springfield, MA, Position Type: Per Diem, Education Level: Master's Degree, Salary Range: $45.89 - $47.27Hourly, Travel Percentage: Up to 75%, Job Shift: Day, Occupational Therapist – Vision Rehabilitation -- Per Diem MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our Vision Rehabilitation team.
This unique community-based position serves individuals experiencing vision loss. Services are provided in clients’ homes and focus on maximizing independence, safety, and quality of life.
What You’ll Do Conduct functional, vision rehabilitation, and home safety assessments Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications Provide training in compensatory strategies, low-vision techniques, and independent living skills Collaborate with families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams Complete required clinical documentation and care coordination Why Join MAB?

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Two years of clinical experience preferred Experience with vision/low-vision rehabilitation, home health, or community-based rehabilitation preferred Join MAB Community Services and bring occupational therapy directly into the environments where it can make the greatest difference.
