Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Respiratory Therapist will administer respiratory treatments, monitor mechanical ventilators, and perform critical-care duties such as airway management. They are also responsible for performing arterial punctures, conducting EKGs, and documenting patient care in the EMR system.

Requirements

Applicants must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy and hold a current state respiratory therapist license. A minimum of three years of cardiopulmonary or respiratory care experience is highly preferred, along with current BLS certification.
