Key Responsibilities
The trainee will participate in MOUD in community-based settings, receiving clinical training and peer support to initiate MOUD provision, while connecting patients to behavioral health counseling and social supports to ensure retention in care. Responsibilities also include performing initial and ongoing assessments, developing treatment plans, ordering tests and medications, and providing comprehensive patient education and counseling.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and hold current certifications including Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP) and a Licensed Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania. This is a trainee program focused on integrated mental health and SUD/OUD services, including MOUD, within an underserved community-based primary care setting.
