We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider—Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)—to join our growing practice in Anderson, South Carolina. We welcome both newly certified APPs and experienced providers who are passionate about behavioral healthcare.

Position Overview

The APP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health treatment in a supportive outpatient environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing individualized, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.

* Diagnose and treat a variety of behavioral health conditions.

* Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs.

* Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within the provider’s scope of practice.

* Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects.

* Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment recommendations.

* Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other members of the treatment team.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

* Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and community resources when appropriate.

* Follow all clinical, ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.

* Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C).

* Current or eligible South Carolina professional license.

* Current or eligible DEA registration, as required for the position.

* Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team.

* Newly certified and experienced APPs are encouraged to apply.
