Job Description

Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient pain management practice in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The NP will work alongside experienced physicians treating patients with spine, neurological, and chronic pain conditions. This position offers the opportunity to expand both clinical and procedural skills while providing comprehensive outpatient pain management care.

The Nurse Practitioner will perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic testing, manage medications, and may perform in-office procedures including joint injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and other pain management interventions based on experience and training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage spine, neurological, and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Order and interpret imaging, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
  • Perform or train in pain management procedures including joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and long-term care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and specialists

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active Florida APRN license
  • National board certification
  • Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Previous APP experience preferred
  • Pain management, neurology, orthopedics, PM&R, spine, or related outpatient experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Procedural experience preferred
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • EMR documentation experience
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
