Infectious Disease Physician (MD, DO)

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive medical evaluations, education, and treatment.

• Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with agency, state, and HIPAA laws.

• Assesses medical and psycho-social histories, performs physical exams, identifies problems, formulates treatment plans, provides education and referrals, and evaluates intervention effectiveness.

• Orders and interprets laboratory tests, reports communicable diseases to the Health Department as per protocol.

Requirements

• Education: Degree from an accredited Medical School. Documented completion of Residency training from an accredited institution. CPR Certification is required.
