Access Therapist (BH)

Join Riverwood Center as a Access Therapist (BH) in Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides phone and face-to-face triage, crisis intervention, brief therapeutic interventions, and initial “Requests for Service” to consumers seeking services.

• Provides a screening of consumer benefits and level of need to determine population eligibility.

• Provides referrals to services to internal and external service providers.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in an appropriate mental health discipline.

• Two or more years’ experience providing treatment to individuals with a mental illness.

• Excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously, and work independently.

• Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a LLMSW, LMSW,.
