SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento

Position Overview

Performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac

catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality images for

physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment,

monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising

sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures

to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation

from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers

through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective

communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies

and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient

care.

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Certification & Licensure

* ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists

* CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist

* RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy

* BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Pay Range is $67.90 to $95.06 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the

position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including,

but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure,

certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base

pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards

program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

Performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images. Ensures patient safety and privacy while collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver accurate results.

Requirements

Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and 3 years of recent relevant experience. Must hold ARRT, CRT, RHF, and BLS certifications.
