The SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders. They develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to enhance resident quality of life.
Candidates must hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. While experience with geriatric populations is preferred, new graduates and clinical fellowship year candidates are welcome to apply.
