About the Role

Join Mater as a Social Worker in United States. About the role Mater Health is looking for Social Workers to join our Mater Mother’s Hospital Social Work team! This permanent, full-time position will be based at our South Brisbane campus.

Key Responsibilities

Provide delegation, supervision, training and support to less experienced health practitioners, allied health assistants, students, support staff and volunteers in the delivery of clinical services

Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within professional and multidisciplinary teams

Actively participate in professional and multidisciplinary teams, and liaise with patients, their families/carers and external agencies to facilitate patient centred care

mater] What you’ll be doing The successful candidate will independently undertake routine clinical practice within established clinical protocols across all maternity settings to achieve patient

focused outcomes. Duties will also include applying increasing clinical judgement to manage more complex cases under clinical practice supervision.
