Compensation

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $43,922 to $65,988, with a
median salary of $54,990 (adjusted for 0.5 FTE). Pay is dependent on several
factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just
one component of the compensation package for employees. Gillette supports
career progression and offers a competitive benefits package, including a
retirement saving match, tuition and certification reimbursement, paid time off,
and health and wellness benefits for.5 FTE and above.

Physician Fee Schedule changes
* Calculate provider- and specialty-level wRVUs and maintain historical trend
data for seasonality and mix shifts

Ongoing Impact Modeling

* Model the productivity and compensation impact of RVU or coding changes
(e. g., CMS efficiency adjustments, specialty mix shifts) by provider,
specialty, and site
* Produce scenario comparisons (e. g., hold-harmless/shadow RVUs, adjusted
dollar-per-wRVU, adjusted thresholds) for leadership review
* Run periodic “shadow vs. actual” tracking so variance can be explained before
it surprises a provider or a budget

Reporting & Analytics Support

* Build and maintain the underlying performance and productivity reports that
the Physician Compensation Program Specialist delivers to physicians,
ensuring caluclation accuracy and clarity before physician-facing use
* Build and maintain recurring productivity/compensation dashboards (Excel
and/or Power BI)
* Support annual budget and compensation-planning cycles with forecasts and
year-over-year comparisons

Data Integrity, Documentation & Compliance Support

* Validate consistency of provider-level RVU and compensation data across
coding, billing, and comp/HR systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies
at the source
* Document modeling methodology and assumptions so results are reproducible and
auditable
* Participate in relevant salary/productivity survey data submissions (e. g.,
MGMA DataDive) from a data-preparation standpoint

Other

* Act as the data resource for the Physician Compensation Program Specialist
and Medical Staff Office on physician compensation data questions
* Coordinate with Gillette's enterprise Data Analytics/IT department as needed
for source-system data access, extracts, and infrastructure — this role owns
the physician compensation modeling itself

Relationship Building

* Builds effective relationships across the organization to accomplish the work
and focus on patients/customers more effectively. Balances “getting results”
with a concern for others’ needs. Works to achieve optimal joining of ideas,
projects, services, and programs. Shows respect and appreciation for the
ideas and contributions of others. Is trusted by all members of the work
group.

Manage Change

Demonstrates resilience in a changing environment. Leads and supports others to
adapt and remain effective within ongoing change. Is willing to become a
champion for new projects or programs, representing them so that others will
support them. Recovers from setbacks and finds alternative ways to accomplish
objectives.

Statistics, or related field; or equivalent experience

group, hospital, or health system

Preferred

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Data
Analytics, or related field
* Experience with EMR systems such as Oracle Health (Cerner)
* Prior experience supporting a compensation model conversion (e. g.,
salary-to-productivity, plan redesign) in a healthcare setting
* Coding credential (CPC, CCS, or similar)
* Experience with SQL and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
* Exposure to MGMA benchmarking tools (DataDive, Physician Fee Schedule Tool)
or similar survey data

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, wRVU methodology, and the Medicare
Physician Fee Schedule sufficient to build and maintain crosswalk tables
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; comfort building repeatable, auditable
calculations and models
* Demonstrated ability to reconcile data across multiple source systems (PM,
billing, coding, HR/comp) and identify and resolve discrepancies
* Comfort modeling “what-if” compensation scenarios (e. g., comparing pay under
two different plan structures) with clear, defensible assumptions
* Ability to interpret and translate technical data findings for non-analyst
audiences, including HR, finance, and physician leaders
* Ability to partner effectively with HR, the Physician Compensation Program
Specialist, the Medical Staff Office, Coding, and IT/Analytics
