About the Residential Coach Position

As a Residential Coach, you will play an important role in helping individuals with significant mental health challenges develop the skills and confidence needed to live more independent, fulfilling lives.

You will work directly with clients to help them identify and achieve personal goals, strengthen daily living skills, and build a toolbox of strategies to navigate the challenges and barriers associated with their mental health needs.

Your support will help clients develop greater independence, improve their overall wellness, and become more actively involved in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in developing and strengthening daily living skills.
  • Support clients with self-administration of medications.
  • Encourage self-care, wellness, and healthy routines.
  • Help clients identify personal goals and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Promote independence, recovery, and community involvement.
  • Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage personal growth and success.

Schedule and Flexibility

  • We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities to accommodate a variety of schedules and lifestyles.
  • Overnight shifts: Non-consecutive shifts designed to provide flexibility.
  • Paid overnight hours: Receive full pay for all scheduled shift hours, including hours when you are permitted to sleep.
  • Client support: Employees must remain available to assist clients at any time during their scheduled shift.
  • Flexible scheduling: Available workdays will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Overtime opportunities: Additional hours may be available.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and the desire to help individuals with behavioral health needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency’s insurance carrier.
  • Work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance.
  • Pass the agency’s background check.
