Join Halcyon Home as a Home Health Occupational Therapist in Bastrop, Texas. Halcyon Home is hiring a PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist to support our growing geriatric home health population in Bastrop, TX and surrounding areas. We offer excellent per visit rates, and wonderful team support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing clinical assessments to determine patient needs.

• Evaluate patients’ occupational performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest.

• Assess and facilitate therapeutic interventions for ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment, and functional mobility.

• Develop and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with patients, caregivers, and representatives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.

• Licensure: Active state license as an occupational therapist or meets the requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(f). Military spouses with an equivalent out-of-state license are welcome.

• Experience: A minimum of one year of home health experience preferred.

• Skills: Proficient therapy skills according to accepted standards of practice, good interpersonal skills, CPR certification, knowledge of durable medical equipment.
