Job Description
The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / Attending Otolaryngologist. The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate Resident and Medical Students in the field Otolanyngology and sub-specialties.
- Serve on Institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair.
- Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
- Attend required Departmental conferences.
- Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
- Assist with department Q&A programs.
- Develop a hospital-based practice.
- Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.
- Provide attending coverage for Adult and Pediatric consultations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- MD Degree or equivalent.
- Graduate of an ACGME-approved Residency Program.
- New York State Medical Licensure.
- Board Certified Otolaryngologist.
