Mobile Responder -Licensed-LMHC, LMFT, LCSW

Join New Horizons of the Treasure Coast as a Mobile Responder -Licensed-LMHC, LMFT, LCSW in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiating involuntary examinations under Baker Act and Marchman Act where appropriate.

• Providing phone or in-person consultation to unlicensed staff prior to closing a case or making a determination as to level of need and/or outcome of a call.

• Participation in on-call rotation to ensure availability of 24-hour consultation support for unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in psychology, social work counseling, mental health counseling.

• Current Florida license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology.

• Experience working with chronic and acute mental illness, behavioral disturbances, emotional dysregulation, and substance use dependency.

• Preferred experience in crisis response, de-escalation, and previous work with diverse populations.
