Job Description
Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
360 Medical | New York, NY | Fully Onsite (no remote hours) | $55–$80/hour | Full Time
The Role
You'll be the front door to mental/behavioral health for the employees we serve. Through careful intake, you'll identify who will do well in short-term treatment. You'll treat those patients directly. For patients who need longer-term or more specialized support, you'll connect them with the right providers. You won't work in isolation: you'll be an active member of our clinical care team and collaborate with medical providers on the whole person.
What You Will Do
Conduct thorough intakes (1–2 sessions) to assess whether a patient is a good fit for short-term treatment. Coordinate referrals to trusted network partners when longer-term care is needed.
Assess and diagnose mental health conditions using clinical interviews, validated screeners, and medical records.
- Partner with patients to define their personal, social, and vocational goals.
- Deliver individual therapy grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and CAMS, tailored to each patient.
- Manage crises situations with confidence and sound clinical judgment.
Contribute to the broader care team through consultation, case management, care coordination, and referral management.
What You Bring
Active New York State licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or PsyD/PhD
5+ years of clinical experience. Masters level candidates.
A strong background in individual psychotherapy with adults, treating concerns such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, addiction, grief, relationship and family challenges, and work-life balance.
- A real understanding of the pressures of high-stress, high-performance work environments.
- Proven experience in crisis management and in identifying, preventing, and managing suicidal behavior.
- Working knowledge of NYC referral networks and community resources.
- A plus if you have experience supporting high-performing professionals in the corporate or financial sectors.
