Job Description
1st Shift. Days vary with holiday and weekend rotation.
Licensed and in good standing status by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy to practice as a pharmacist or board eligible; PharmD degree and completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or two or more years of relevant clinical experience may be considered in absence of residency training; or employed as a Clinical Pharmacist with SRH prior to 4/1/2018.
PGY2 Pharmacy residency in applicable area of specialty preferred. Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties certification in area of specialty preferred. If board eligible, must obtain South Carolina pharmacist license within 3 months of hire
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services and participate in shift rotations including weekends and holidays. They are responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication therapy in accordance with state regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a PharmD degree and a valid South Carolina pharmacist license or be board eligible. Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or two years of relevant clinical experience is required.
